Postgram: an innovative opportunity to explore your future master's degree
From October 13, 2025 00:00 to November 16, 2025 00:00
With the Postgram programme, third-year undergraduate students can explore up to 25% of their future master's degree courses through a progressive and interactive online programme. This is a flexible way to get a head start on a master's degree programme before committing to it. Two programmes offer this option: the Master's in Archives Management and the Master's in Plant Biology.
The courses are delivered via Moodle, the University of Angers' online learning platform. Videos, quizzes, interactive activities and other resources are used to facilitate independent learning.
The course is designed to fit around students' schedules and is delivered entirely online over a period of five months. It not only gives students an insight into the structure and topics covered by the Master's degree, but also allows them to complete part of the course before deciding whether to enrol in the in-class programme.
Launch of the Postgram Plant Biology programme, taught entirely in English
This year, UA's Faculty of Science is introducing a new distance learning programme: the Postgram Plant Biology programme, a plant health course taught in English. "This master’s degree programme aims to train highly skilled scientists capable of addressing today’s major challenges in plant production, particularly climate change, low-input farming systems and emerging pathogens," explains Thomas Guillemette, Head of Programme. The lecturer and researcher points out that: "Angers is located in a region with a strong agricultural heritage and is recognised as France’s leading centre for advanced training in plant sciences." The Plant Campus brings together all the facilities and infrastructure required to support cutting-edge research and teaching in plant sciences, offering students a unique environment to develop expertise in this rapidly evolving field.

"Our course is very popular, with many applications submitted via the MonMaster platform.
