The University of Angers is very proud to have been selected for the Bienvenue en France label and to have been awarded 2 stars. The quality of the services offered to international students is key to the attractiveness and internationalisation of our university. This label recognises our university's ongoing efforts to ensure a quality experience for international students and will enhance the promotion of the university's work to provide clearly accessible information as well as an exceptional campus experience and excellent learning environment.

What is the Bienvenue en France label?

The Bienvenue en France Label is part of a global quality assessment of French higher education institutions, and provides a tool for measuring, describing and promoting their services and initiatives designed for international students.

The label is awarded to institutions that wish to highlight their student reception services. It is awarded for 4 years by Campus France on the basis of an online self-assessment, accompanied by a portfolio of supporting documents. It is then validated by an independent commission after an official audit carried out by Campus France inspectors.

To be awarded the label, institutions are required to evaluate the following five criteria:

• Quality of and access to information
• Services for international students (orientation week, events, information, guidance, etc.)
• Course offer
• Accommodation and campus life
• Quality of the post-graduate support

Higher education institutions that meet the required standards are awarded a 1-star, 2-star or 3-star label according to the quality of services.
