Noël partagé A look back at the 2021 edition

Christmas is over, but you didn't think we were going to leave you without feedback on the last Noël Partagé operation last December... It's this way!

...Let's rewind the film...

Once upon a time in 2019 (yes, you remember, there were no masks, no distancing and no barrier measures...) UA offered international students and staff the chance to share Christmas for the first time.

2020: the virus that everyone is talking about invited itself to the party... so there was no actual party!

But in 2021, the Christmas spirit struck again!

Thanks to the enthusiasm of several UA families, 15 international students were able to discover what Christmas is like here.

So thank you all very much!

What do they say about this experience?

Marie Paul is delighted with "this lovely experience, a very nice exchange, the discovery of different cultures" "We thought it was a very nice idea to share Christmas and our traditions and not to leave these students alone to celebrate Christmas far away from their families".

Albertine recalls this "pleasant moment of sharing, of mutual discovery of other countries/cultures/traditions".

This feeling was also shared by the students.

Olivia said: "The host family was extraordinary, it was a very enriching experience" #MerciMariePaul.

Patrycja commented: "It was great! I love this family! They were so nice and kind. The food was great! And i din't feel uncomfortable with them."    #ThanksClotilde

Olivia will have the last word: "Sharing with others is essential. Opening up to other cultures is one of the best experiences in life."

The families and students are on board - so are we! There are still 11 months to go - in the meantime, we wish you a happy new year 2022!
