Intensive French semester (DUEF)

The French Language Centre for Foreigners (Celfe) at the University of Angers offers an intensive semester in French. 

The semester course of the Diplôme Universitaire d'Etudes Françaises (DUEF) is a general French language course. It is a full-time program that includes several levels of instruction, ranging from A2 to C1. 

The objectives are to master the French language orally and in writing, to discover French culture, and to prepare for enrollment at university for subsequent academic studies at the University of Angers.

The DUEF semester course - Spring session:

  •  10 weeks from January to May
  •  20 hours of training per week
  •  Cultural activities
  •  Levels from A2 to C1
  •  DUEF Diploma at the end of the course

Registrations are open until 15 December 2025.

Students enrolled in the DUEF semester course in French have access to all university services, such as the libraries, the sports centre, the medical centre, and the careers centre.
