Partner universities: University of Extremadura (Spain), University of Evora (Portugal), University of Oradea (Romania)

Number of places: 15 for international students + 5 max for local students (UA)

Language of instruction: English

Prerequisites: students and staff from all fields and curriculum levels are welcome, provided they show interest in the English language, in artistic practice (music, instrument playing and/or singing, writing), poetry,  and exploring their creativity.

Language skills: B2 level in English required.

BIP Programme

Blending the cultural and musical influences of participants, instructors, and professional musicians, this immersive seminar invites you on a one-week creative journey designed to unleash your musical potential. Through inspiring classes and hands-on workshops, you will explore the roots and evolution of contemporary folk pop, learn how to craft compelling English lyrics, and develop your skills in song structure, harmonies, and arrangements.

Guided band sessions and vocal coaching offer a relaxed yet high-level environment to refine your musicianship and performance skills. With stage coaching, gain the confidence to shine during live performances on local stages at the end of the week (if you feel like it).

A rich programme of live music events and dining will round out this unforgettable experience in Angers.

Join this year’s class and bring your music to life!

Physical mobility period: from June 1st to June 5th included, 2026.

Virtual mobility period:  from May 28th, 2026, from 9 to 12 a.m.

Selection criteria: The participant is willing to partake in original artistic creation (songwriting), putting to good use existing artistic skills. They must be AMATEUR musicians, singers or lyricists/poets. This seminar is NOT for absolute beginners, nor is it for professional or top-level artists and producers.
