The International Office is pleased to invite you to this welcome reception.
Come and meet other students over games and find out about student life and the services offered by our partners.

University services

• The French Language Centre for Foreigners (CeLFE): Learn about the free French language courses for international students at UA.
  
  
• The Buddy System: Find out more about the UA's Buddy Programme and get a Buddy.
  
  
• The UA Culture Service: Learn about the UA culture card and the programme.
  
  
• The University Medical Centre: Get answers to your health questions and try their smoothies bike.
  
  
• The University Sports Centre: Learn about UA's sports activities and training courses. The first activity is free.
  
  
• The University Careers Centre will present its missions and answer questions. (17:00-18:00)
  
  
• The UA Shop (Boutique UA): Order your UA goodies.
   
• Boîte à partage: The student ambassadors will show you to the Boîte à partage (Sharing box) where you can get every day student essentials for free.
   
• ESN card: Order your ESN card to get discounts with ESN partners (only for exchange students).

Student life services

• The French Health Insurance Administration (CPAM) will answer your questions about the health system in France and how to benefit from it.
  
  
• The Family Allowance Fund (CAF) will answer your questions regarding financial housing aid.
   
• The Crous will be able to give information on grants (for non-exchange students) and the Izly card which allows you to get your meals at the university dining halls and print documents at the university libraries

• Nightline vous renseignera sur leur ligne d'écoute pour les étudiants.

Transport partners

• Vélocité: Rent a bike for free for the duration of your stay! What better way to get around and discover the city?
  
  
• Irigo: Learn more about city transport (Bus and Tramway), how to get your transport card, prices, etc.
   
• La SNCF: Learn about rail transport and student discounts to discover France during your stay.
   
• La Gare routière: Learn about bus transport and student discounts to discover France during your stay.

Culture partners

• The BDI Esthua, a student association at UA. Get to know them and check out their events for the semester.
   
• L'Institut Confucius will present their programme of activities on Chinese culture.
   
• The English Language Library will tell you about their free subscription for students and their events programme.
   
• La Maison de l'Europe d'Angers will talk about Europe, projects, events and European Affairs.
   
•  L'AFIA 49 will explain how international students can meet local families each month over a meal or a walk.
