Admission procedures vary according to the field, the year of study, your nationality and the country where you live.

  • You are a european student

    European students are students with a nationality from:

    • One of the 27 countries of the EU
    • A country included in the EEA (EU + Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein)
    • Switzerland
    • Monaco or Andorra

     

    Applying for the 1st year of a Bachelor's degree

    European students who want to join the French higher education system in 1st year of a Bachelor’s degree (“Licence”) must apply on the “Parcoursup” platformThe application process is mandatory to apply to most of the degrees offered by higher education institutions.

    Applying for 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree (L2 ou L3) or for a Master's degree (M1, M2)

    If you are a European student and you wish to apply for 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree, you must submit your application between 15 February and 31 March 2021. (bienvenue @ contact.univ-angers.fr)

  • You are a non-EU foreign national, living in France

    Applying for the 1st year of a Bachelor's degree or PluriPass - 2021-2022

    The dossier vert must be submitted before January 17, 2021 (postmark as proof).

    1. Download "Dossier vert" (in French) and read with care the explanatory note (in French)

    2. Fill out one application for each University

    3. Except in exceptional cases, candidates must take a language test, the TCF DAP (Test cost 73€). The test will take place February 4, 2021.
      Please note that as the test will take place after the application deadline, you must include the proof of TCF DAP test registration to your dossier vert.

    4. Send the files to the 3 universities of your choice by registered postal letter. For the University of Angers you have two possibilities:
    • Submit your dossier vert by appointment from January 5, 2021 to January 14, 2021. Make an appointment here (strongly advised)
    • Sending your dossier vert by post to the University of Angers:

    If the dossier vert application is incomplete or arrives after the deadline, it will not be taken into account.

  • You reside in one of the countries using the Etudes en France procedure

    You reside in one of the countries using the Etudes en France procedure from the list below?
    Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, Haïti, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Niger, Peru,  Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Tchad, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, USA, Vietnam.

    If  you hold a foreign diploma.

    You must apply through the Études en France application on the Campus France platform.
    Log on to ”nameofcountry”.campusfrance.org (example: www.algerie.campusfrance.org) and follow the instructions.

    Deadlines for the academic year 2021-2022

    PluriPASS

     from November 1, 2020 to January 17, 2021

    Bachelor’s degree: 1st year (Licence L1)

     from November 1, 2020 to January 17, 2021

    Bachelor’s degree: 2nd or 3rd year (Licence L2 and L3)

     from January 25 to March 5, 2021

    Masters degree (Master M1, M2)

     from January 25 to March 5, 2021

     

    Please note that for some Master’s degree courses (M1 or M2), in addition to applying through the Campus France platform to obtain your student visa, you must also download and fill out an application form on the website of the respective faculty on the UA website. This information will be available on the Campus France platform.

    Admission to the BUT or Polytech Angers

    For information on how to apply for the BUT (Bachelor universitaire de technologie) or for courses at Polytech Angers, please contact bienvenue @ univ-angers.fr .

  • You reside in a non european country that does not apply the Etudes en France procedure

    Applying for the first year of the Bachelor’s degree (Licence L1), Pluripass

    You have a foreign secondary school diploma (baccalauréat or equivalent).
    Download and fill out the form Dossier blanc (also called Demande d’Admission Préalable – DAP (Preliminary Admissions Request) and read its explanatory note. You can also get the form from the Cultural Services Department at the French Embassy of your country of residence.

    Applications must be obtained and filled within the stated deadlines. Please note that the application deadline for the academic term 2021-2022 is on January 17, 2021.

    Applying for the BUT or Polytech Angers

  • You are the child of a diplomat stationed in France, you are stateless, a refugee, or you benefit from subsidiary protection.

    • You wish to apply for the first year of the Bachelor’s degree (Licence L1) or Pluripass: please contact bienvenue @ univ-angers.fr to apply before March 31, 2020.

     

    • Vous souhaitez candidater en 2ème ou 3ème année de licence (L2 ou L3) ou en master (M1, M2) déposez votre candidature entre le 15 février et le 31 mars 2021.

  • You are a foreigner with a French baccalauréat

    • You wish to apply for the first year of the Bachelor’s degree (Licence L1) or Pluripass, you must apply on the “Parcoursup” platform.

     

    • If you live in a country covered by the Etudes En France (EEF) procedure, once you have been admitted, you will need to register with Campus France in order to apply for a visa.
    • If you are not from a country covered by the Etudes En France procedure, once you have been admitted, you will need to contact the Cooperation and Cultural Action Network (SCAC) of the French Embassy in your country, in order to carry out your visa procedures.

     

    • You wish to apply for second or third year of Bachelor degree and Master degree: please contact bienvenue@contact.univ-angers.fr (bienvenue @ univ-angers.fr).
