Call for expression of interestMSCA postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Angers 2021

You are a post-doc researcher, and you would like to expand your experience with a stay in a French research group? You are ready for a new challenge and an international career? You would like to broaden your network and mature as an independent researcher? Then the Marie Sklodowska Curie Action (MSCA) post-doctoral fellowship from the Horizon Europe programme is made for you!

Post-doctoral Fellowships are a great option if you are a researcher looking to give your career a boost by working abroad. They offer exciting new learning opportunities and a chance to add some sparkle to your CV. The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility.

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to excellent researchers of any nationality.

The MSCA fellowships provide funding for researchers. The grant usually covers up to two years’ salary, a mobility allowance, research costs and overheads for the host institution. Post-doc researchers submit proposals for funding together with their planned host organisation. Proposals are evaluated on research quality, the researcher’s future career prospects, and the support offered by the host organisation.

  • What is the “Springboard toward Marie Sklodowska Curie”?

The University of Angers is launching a call to attract future MSCA Fellowship candidates and support them with their application.  Beneficiaries of this call of proposal will be funded for a two-day stay in Angers for meeting, training and support.

A two-day event that will take place on July 5 and 6, 2021:

    • Day 1: Welcome by the Cap Europe staff, specialised training on how to write “Post-doctoral Fellowships” proposals and dedicated support from the European project managers of the host institution.
    • Day 2: Tour of the laboratory and definition of the project with the supervisor.

The grant will cover the event expenditures: travel (up to 500€ for the EU countries and up to 1000€ for the non-EU countries), hotel and subsistence expenses (for 2 days and 2 nights). The University of Angers does not cover the visa fees.
