If you want to stay in a student hall of residence

As an exchange student you can request a room in a student hall of residence. However please note that rooms are limited and subject to availability.

How do I apply for a room ?
  • Fill in the online application form available from 1rst October 2018 to 1st November  2018
  • Pay the following compulsory fees:
    - Booking fees (€50) when applying
    - Room insurance (€27 - rate for 2018-2019) upon receipt of the accommodation contract

If you can't pay online, please contact us by email before 1st November at : echange.international@univ-angers.fr

IMPORTANT:
- Those fees are compulsory and won't be reimbursed if the student cancels her/his request.
- The booking will be effective subject to the confirmation of your application by your home university and to room availability.

Allocation is generally on a "first-come, first-served basis".
However priority will be given to exchange students staying the whole academic year.

  • If your accommodation request is successful, we will send you an accommodation contract before your arrival in Angers. Booking of the room will become effective once we receive this contract duly signed.

Please make sure you read the accommodation contract very carefully before signing it as it binds you to its terms during your stay.

Once you have signed the contract, you undertake to pay the rent for the room  you have been assigned to for the whole period indicated on the contract, even if you arrive later or leave earlier.

If all rooms have already been allocated, we will put your name on a waiting list.
