International students: tutors assist you

A caring experimental plan for international students besides a cooperation agreement (different from student-exchange programme) was launched on August 30th. It will end on October 14th.
The University has recruited two “international tutors” from among masters’ students. They put each international student in touch with a volunteer.
50 volunteer “coaches”
About fifty students have volunteers to welcome the new arrivals. For example, they wait for international students at the station and show them around the city by bus and tram. Then, they assist new students with administration matters : registration, accommodation, bank account, mobile phone subscription, etc.

Both teams have been awarded at the CRSU of Nantes and at the City Hall of Angers.
