Double victory for our volleyball teams
Both girls and boys’ volleyball teams of the SUAPS sport association won the academic championship and the 2010-2011 university Cup of Angers.
Academic championship
The Pays de la Loire academic championship final took place on March, 24, in Nantes. The SUAPS boys’ team of the University of Angers defeated the Ecole Centrale of Nantes, 3 sets to 0. For their part, the girls overcame Audencia, Nantes, 3 sets to 1.
Cup of Angers
In addition, universities and private and public higher education schools gathered during the Cup of Angers. The boys won 3 sets to 2, versus the team of the University of Angers’ Faculty of Pharmacy, on March, 14. Against the ENSAM on April, 19, the girls of Angers SUAPS walked away with the game 3 sets to 0.
Both teams have been awarded at the CRSU of Nantes and at the City Hall of Angers.
