Angers will host the 2012 general meeting of the French-German University
During the 12th general meeting of the French-German University members, at the Hochschule Harz of Wernigerode, on May, 26, the University of Angers has been chosen to hold the next meeting. The proposal of the University of Angers was led at the initiative of Mr Gerold Beyer, a German professor at the Faculty of Tourism.
Promoting the French-German university relations The French-German University is a network of 180 French, German and European higher education institutions, which aims to strengthen the cooperation in the fields of higher education and research, and to increase French and German students mobility. It especially supports the creation of dual degrees.
The next general meeting will be held in Angers in May 2012 and will gather 250 of the main participants involved in the inter-university action between France and Germany. Congratulations to Mr Beyer for having represented the University of Angers in such a good way!
