Françoise Grolleau, Vice-President for International Affairs and Michel Landron, Head of International Relations of the School of Engineering, at the University of Angers attended the third « Global Partnership Week » organized by the Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU) from the 27th to the 30th of September.
SPPU mainly delivers degrees in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic, Environmental Engineering). The cooperation is scheduled to start in 2017 and it is meant to foster first student exchanges for internships and it also may concern teaching mobility on both sides.
This very first visit is the result of the visit of the SSPU delegation in Angers, on the 25th of September 2015, which was followed by the signature of the MoU in December 2015.
12.000 students are enrolled in a modern, well-equipped and growing campus located in Shanghai. The « Global Partnership Week » was attended by partners from Australia, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States.
SSPU and the University of Angers are committed to build on this mutual understanding and to make this brand-new MoU meaningful.
